ming Soon to Madison Township!

Thanks to the advocacy of Trustee Reynolds and leadership of Fiscal Officer Laurie Vermeer, Madison Township residents will soon be able to obtain financial and transactional data online for Madison Township through OhioCheckbook.com (formerly Open Checkbook). The Ohio Checkbook serves as the singular and most trusted resource for Ohioans to obtain both local and state financial information. This resource not only enhances government transparency but by providing real-time data, users can view online government spending, as well as see how revenue is allocated.

“As government officials, it is our obligation to serve the public with integrity and openness while being accountable for the taxpayers' dollars that we have been entrusted with. Transparency in government is not just a requirement, but an obligation that is a part of our servitude to our constituents,” states Trustee Reynolds.

The importance of transparency in government is to continually build upon the trust between the government and the public. To provide an open stream platform that will enable the public to be served to see that the decisions and actions being made by those they elected into public office are serving them to the best of their ability.

“I believe that transparency is a fundamental right for those that I serve and will continue to provide an open book platform to enhance government transparency.”
