CCS Food Distribution during Winter Break
Winter Break for CCS is from December 18, 2020 through January 1, 2021. The District’s Fuel Up meal sites will have limited meal distributions at 15 site locations during this time from 11AM-1PM. Meal pick-ups on Wednesdays, 12/23 and 12/30, will be at the following 15 Fuel Up meal sites from 11AM-1PM: Beechcroft HS, Buckeye MS, Centennial HS, Eastmoor Academy, Independence HS, Johnson Park MS, Linden-McKinley STEM Academy, Medina MS, Mifflin MS, Sherwood MS, South HS, Starling MS, Wedgewood MS, West HS, and Woodward Park MS. The Fuel Up Meal distribution will resume its 44 meal sites on Wednesday, January 6, 2021. Learn more at ccsoh.us.
Drive-Thru Grocery Distribution
World Harvest Church, 4595 Gender Road, Canal Winchester, OH 43110 will provide free groceries, Sunday, December 29th at 12 noon (immediately following service.) Bags will include meat, dairy and produce for free and is open to the entire community.

For those in need, the Canal Winchester Human Services Community Food Pantry is open on an appointment basis only by calling the Community Food Pantry at 614-834-4700. Guidelines are available. Appointments are available each Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday from 1:00 – 3:00pm, except for the 2nd and 4th Wednesday when the pantry is open from 4:00pm – 6:00pm. For the Christmas holiday, the pantry will be closed December 21st - January 3rd. Clients are allowed to use the pantry twice each month and receive five days of food for each documented member of their household.
